⁴¹ Then he took the child^(A) by the hand and said to her, “Talitha koum”^[a] (which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, get up”^(B)).

²² He replied to them, “Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, those with leprosy^[a] are cleansed, the deaf hear,^(A) the dead are raised, and the poor are told the good news,^(B)

⁵⁴ So he^[a] took her by the hand^(A) and called out, “Child, get up!”^(B)

⁴³ After he said this, he shouted with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”

⁴⁰ Peter sent them all out of the room. He knelt down, prayed, and turning toward the body said, “Tabitha, get up.” She opened her eyes, saw Peter, and sat up.^(A)
