Love for Enemies

⁴³ “You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor^[a](A) and hate your enemy.’^(B)

³⁴ “A new command^(A) I give you: Love one another.^(B) As I have loved you, so you must love one another.^(C)

¹⁴ And over all these virtues put on love,^(A) which binds them all together in perfect unity.^(B)
